Take a Break and...Find Your Happiness

Happiness

Dear Kindred Spirits,

For many people, happiness may feel like an ever-moving goal post in the game of life, which we can only get closer to through the next promotion, pay raise, or other material achievement.

The “pursuit of happiness” has been studied for ages by philosophers, scholars, and business leaders alike, yet according to the latest World Happiness Report, Americans have recently reported a sharp decline in overall happiness.

Is happiness found in the quiet moments of contentment, the achievements that mark our career journey, or the bonds we share with those around us? From practicing mindfulness and gratitude to pursuing passions and nurturing connections, we believe that happiness emerges as a tapestry woven from the diverse threads of our experiences.

As we navigate the complexities of life, we also confront challenges to happiness. In these moments, we're reminded that happiness is not just about the presence of positive emotions, but also about resilience, the strength to face adversities, and the courage to embrace change.

Together, let's Take a Break to discover the many ways we can enrich our lives and the world around us with happiness.
